David Cameron piggate: Top 10 tweets sent in wake of Lord Ashcroft revelation in Call Me Dave

David Cameron will probably be glad to see the back of this week. As the prime minister prepared for the Conservative Party conference in Manchester, news emerged that he once allegedly got himself into an awkward position with a pig.

The soon-to-be published Call Me Dave, a biography on the Tory leader by former party treasurer and peer Michael Ashcroft and journalist Isabel Oakeshott reported claims that Cameron was a member of the notorious Piers Gaveston Society and apparently put "a private part of his anatomy into a dead pig".
