Heads were turned as a man in a suit was walked like a dog by a woman in London earlier this morning.

Commuters spotted the man crawling along the streets of Farringdon at 8.30am.

But no one knows the reason behind the bizarre sighting but there was speculation it could have simply been a PR stunt.

One witness said: "Managed to stop and stare on Greville Street, only for a few seconds though. Odd as all other worker bees seemed not to."

Numerous snapshots of the pair have swamped Twitter - with people curious to know why they acted in such a peculiar manner.

Some pondered the possible uproar that would have followed if it had been a woman on the leash instead. Or were they just barking mad?
