Duchess of Cambridge dazzles at London charity event
The red carpet got rolled out again in London last night, for another member of Royalty, who's vying with The Queen for the title of the Most Photographed Woman in the world. Some of the great and the good of the music, arts and fashion world turned out in their best bib and tucker to meet the Duchess of Cambridge.
After enjoying watching Princess Zara at the Olympics yesterday afternoon with some of the other young Royals, The Duchess disappeared to slip into her Roksanda Illincic dress for another solo engagement. This time, a dazzling appearance for charity at The Royal Academy of the Arts. Greeted at the door by Prime Minister David Cameron and being led inside by the Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt, last night's event was part of the British government's GREAT campaign - supporting the country's artistic mite in every sense of the word, in a bid to rustle up some more charity investment cash.
A line of celebs eagerly waited for the chance to meet and chat to The Duchess. We've already spotted David Hockney and Stella McCartney, as well as Roger Daltrey, Tracey Emin and Lulu. Just some of the 800 esteemed guests at the event, which is one of several that she and her husband Prince William will be attending during the Olympic Games.
