E3 2014: Far Cry 4 Revealed With First Footage At Ubisoft Conference
Meet Pagan Min in opening five minutes of shooter sequel
Ubisoft Montreal has given the world its first look at Far Cry 4 to kick off Ubisoft's E3 press conference.
The show started with a lengthy CG introduction video focused on the game's blonde villain Pagan Min, a self-appointed king of the fictional Himalayan country of Kyrat.
From the player's perspective we start in a bus entering a Kyrat checkpoint before a gun battle errupts and Pagan Min arrives via helicopter - delivering an unhinged monolgue deliberately reminiscent of Far Cry 3 villain Vaas.
Open world like its predecessors, the game will also include a plethora of wildlife including elephants which players will be able to ride.
Far Cry 4 is set for release on 21 November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PC.
