Eastenders 'Fatboy' Ricky Norwood Faces Disciplinary Action as Skype Sex Act Video Emerges

EastEnders star Ricky Norwood is to face disciplinary action after being photographed naked while smoking marijuana.

The 28-year-old, who plays Fatboy in the popular BBC soap has been summoned for an emergency meeting following the emergence of an eight-and-a-half-minute film, which allegedly shows Norwood performing a sex act while naked and smoking the drug.

The clip, which was shot during a conversation on Skype, is also said to have been touted for sale to an X-rated website.

A spokeswoman for EastEnders confirmed that senior executives will be holding a meeting with the actor to discuss the clip.

"We will be meeting with Ricky early next week to discuss this matter. We are unable to comment any further at this stage."

An insider on the show said: "He's being hauled in on Monday so we can get to the bottom of this. Nobody's happy about it - he's let himself and the show down."

"This is incredibly reckless by Ricky given his position on a BBC family soap. He's seen as a role model."

Norwood previously dated Sugababes singer Jade Ewen, 26, but it was revealed she was not the woman on the other end of the Skype call.

Fatboy has been a popular character on Eastenders and the actor has been at the centre of several key storylines.

He won a National Television Award for Best Newcomer after joining EastEnders in 2010.
