The Russian hosts beat Gescrap BB 98-71.

They now hold a 1-0 lead in this best of five series.

Gescrap ran out of steam after the first quarter- by halftime the home side had established a commanding ten point lead.

98-71 it finished then, Gescrap needing to improve dramatically before Game 2 on Friday.
