Gabrielle Union rocks quirky gown with husband Dwyane Wade's face on it
Gabrielle Union stole the show on the red carpet as she wore a dress with her husband Dwyane Wade's photo all over it.
Gabrielle Union seems to be obsessed with her husband. The "America's Got Talent" judge, 46, turned heads on the red carpet for the AGT live shows at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Her custom RXCH gown had her husband Dwyane Wade's face all over it.
Gabrielle Union was the centre of attraction as she donned a strapless black and white gown. It had a throwback school photograph of her basketballer husband, Dwyane Wade, printed all over it, People reports.
Union's hair was pulled back in a low ponytail. She opted to wear a leather headband wrapped around her crown. She accessorised with simple studs and completed the look with Alexander Wang heels.
The dress featured pockets and was designed from a black-and-white school portrait of a young Wade, 37. Union took to Instagram and said that she was "obsessed" with the photograph. The actress posted an IG story photo where she could be seen wearing the dress beside Wade and their 9-month-old baby girl, Kaavia James.
"Future so bright, gotta wear Wades #agt," Union captioned the photograph. Even Wade appeared to be excited and shared a photo of Union on his Instagram story, donning the dress on the red carpet and wrote: "All of me...Literally."
Union brought a copy of her own throwback school photo to compare with her husband's. Her quirky red carpet look comes weeks after the social activist launched the "I'm Perfect" fashion collection.
Her new line features a number of sophisticated pieces of workwear. Besides that, it also has casual, relaxed styles for the weekend. Her collection featured a campaign headlined by women whom she finds inspiring.
These women are brave enough not to follow the rule book. They include basketball player Candace Parker, actress Dania Ramirez, model Isis King and dancer Nia Sioux.
Just three months earlier, the actress-activist also dropped the New York Company Baby Collection, which featured her daughter and was called Mommy and Me.
