Samsung Rolls out Android 4.1.2 to Galaxy S3 Mini I8190N: Firmware Download Links
Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update to carrier-branded Galaxy S3 Minis (I8190N) across several countries. The update can be installed either as an Over The Air (OTA) transfer or through Samsung Kies.

Galaxy S3 Mini users can manually update to region-appropriate firmware by following the guide below.
To Install Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) on Galaxy S3 Mini (I8190N)
- Download required Jelly Bean firmware (from above links) to the computer and extract firmware files
- Download Odin v3.07and extract contents of zip file
- Switch phone off and place device in Download mode (to do so, press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons until Samsung logo appears on screen. Wait for a few seconds and your phone will be in Download mode)
- Open Odin on computer and connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable, while it is in Download mode
- In Odin select these files in the order mentioned
- Click the PDA button and select the .tar file named CODE
- Click the Phone button and select file named MODEM
- Click the CSC button and select file named CSC
- Click the PIT button and select the.pit file
- Note:The last three steps can be ignored if such files are not found
- Click Start button in Odin to begin the installation process
- Once the installation process is completed, the phone will reboot automatically and a Pass message (against a green background) will be displayed by Odin. Unplug the USB cable to disconnect the phone from the computer at this point
The device is now running on Android 4.1.2 XXALL4 (Jelly Bean).
