The Game Awards 2016: How to watch via live stream and full nominee list

Geoff Keighley returns for the third annual Game Awards.

Tonight, the third annual Game Awards take place in Los Angeles, California, hosted by Geoff Keighley. The show will include a ton of major game announcements and new gameplay trailers, as well as a live performance from Run The Jewels and, of course, the awards themselves.

The show starts at 1.30am UK time (2 December), 5.30pm PST (1 December). Viewers will be able to livestream the show via Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and numerous gaming outlets, as well as via Xbox One, PS4 and Steam.

The Game Awards 2016 are also being broadcast in virtual reality through the NextVR app, available through the Oculus Rift store and Samsung Gear VR.

The draw of the show isn't the awards, but the new trailers and game announcements peppered between them. This year we know The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mass Effect: Andromeda and Prey will debut new gameplay, with Telltale's Marvel project and potentially Marvel vs Capcom 4 expected among the surprise reveals.
