Gloucester machete murder: police seek witnesses after 19-year-old killed outside pub
One dead and two injured in brutal machete attack outside Gloucester pub
A 19-year-old man has died and another two were injured, one seriously, after what is believed to be a machete attack outside a pub in Gloucester.
The 19-year-old, who has not been formally named, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 22-year-old has undergone surgery at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital after sustaining serious injuries. An 18-year-old man sustained minor injuries.
The incident took place outside the Pike and Musket Public House in Windsor Drive, Tuffley, early this morning.
In a statement, Gloucestershire Police said: "Three men were assaulted by a man with a weapon, believed to be a machete. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene – a 19-year-old local man.
"The second, a 22-year-old local man, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries, where he underwent surgery. He is now in a stable condition.
"The third, an 18-year-old local man, sustained minor injuries. Gloucestershire Police are treating this as a murder investigation and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened in the pub's car park or was in the area

Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 13 of 24/01/15.
Two weeks ago a 44-year-old man was left fighting for his life after being run over and stabbed in the same area. A 49-year-old local man was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
