Google Chromecast Now Costs Just £18 in the UK
Google gadget for streaming video to TVs over WiFi sees massive price cut
The Google Chromecast, which cost £30 when it was first launched in the United Kingdom, can now be purchased for as low as £18.
Various UK retailers are already offering Google Chromecast at £18, on their respective websites.
Online retailers like Amazon, Currys and Tesco have adopted the new price-tag and are all offering the gadget at a sub-£20 pricing.
This means that people can buy the Chromecast at a nearly 50% reduced price, when compared to the device's original £30 price tag.
However, Chromecast does not seem to have received the price cut everywhere, as Google Play continues to sell the content streamer at its earlier price tag of £30.
This indicates a temporary reduction in prices by certain retailers, and is also indicative of the fact that the latest pricing may only be temporary (limited period offer) after all.
So, people in the UK, here is your chance to grab the Google Chromecast at a throwaway price.
