Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Expected to be Unveiled in Google’s Upcoming Press Event
Google has secretly sent press invitations for an event on 24 July led by Android and Chrome OS chief, Sundar Pichai.
The invite stated "Please join us for breakfast with Sundar Pichai" along with the event location and other details at the bottom.
The topics discussed in the press invite are not known yet. However, rumours suggest that Google can possible introduce the next Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.
The event is to take place in San Francisco which is surprisingly scheduled to occur one day after Verizon's Droid announcement. This could possibly mean that Pichai is likely to discuss on the upcoming Moto X or Google Nexus 7 next-gen handsets or Android 4.3 Jelly Bean according to the speculations made by Pocket Lint.
It is being also rumoured that the firm could showcase an updated camera application which was recently seen in the Google Play Editions of HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 handsets.
Talking of handsets, Moto X is currently the most talked about device which could be revealed in the event. The handset has been getting a lot of spotlight since the past few weeks regarding its launching dates and specifications.
Since there have been not much news on the Google's Chrome front lately, Pichai is expected to give away some details regarding the next-gen Chromebook device according to the speculations made by CNET.
Along with the press invites, Google's Nexus 2 7in phablet price has also been surfaced online by Android Central. According to the latest leaks, the 16 GB version and 32 GB version is priced at £150 ($229 approx) and £177 ($269 approx) respectively.
The Nexus 2 7 is expected to be powered by a quad-core processor and to run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
Since the leak was found in the retail inventory software, there are possibilities of the device to get introduced with the upcoming Android OS.
