Google Play Store with Android L-Like Material Design Now Rolling Out to Android Users
The latest update to Google Play Store has started rolling out to Android users. The major highlight of the new update is its Android-L inspired 'Material Design' user interface (UI).
Google Play Store (v. 4.9.13), apart from the neat Material Design user interface, also features a host of enhancements. Out of these, the prominent ones include revamps, to book, app, movie and music detail pages, which now feature large 'hero' videos, and huge art banners.
Android users should also get to see large icons neatly arranged, along with newer animations.
Along with this, users should also get to view change-logs and app descriptions in the full screen mode. Other details such as the last update time, version number of the application, and the number of downloads also appear in the app description section in full screen.
Google also seems to have laid emphasis on Google+ sharing, which is evident by the large +1 icons that now adorn the Google Play Store accessed via Android devices.
Google Play Store version 4.9.13 PK is also available for download, for users wanting to immediately try out the Android L-inspired Material Design feel. Click here to download now.
Along with the revamped Play Store, Google is also working on bringing the Android-L like Material Design to its Chrome OS via Project Athena.
