GTA 5: New Easter-Egg reveals Gay Tony and Luis Lopez gameplay details
Avid GTA gamers are in for a special treat, as renowned YouTuber MrBossFTW has revealed the first findings of Gay Tony and Luis Lopez Easter-Egg in his latest gameplay video for GTA 5.
The Easter-Egg reveals some hidden gameplay details linked to GTA 4: Ballad of Gay Tony, and the gameplay video is now available for watching, with due credit to another YouTuber, ZacCoxTV, who has uploaded it.
As MrBossFTW points out, The Ballad of Gay Tony is the best DLC ever released in the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series and warrants a must play regardless of the gaming platform - Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 or PC.
With the two main characters in the DLC being Gay Tony and Luis Lopez, the story revolves around them wherein the former is the Night Club owner and the latter being his hitman as well as the business partner.
It must be noted that these are the first findings of an Easter-Egg related to The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC from GTA 4. In order to unlock the Easter-Egg, here is what you need to do:
- Go into Jimmy's room inside Michael De Santa's house and look right underneath the wall-mounted TV set and you will see a bunch of magazines strewn around.
- One of the magazine covers clearly depicts the photo of Luis Lopez with the title 'Residue', which also mentions Tony Prince and his night club.
- Tip #1: As the gameplay video has been recorded on the PS4, the clarity of the fonts on the magazine seems a bit messed up or blurry. So, gamers who own the PC version might enjoy better image and fonts' clarity in contrast to what is shown in the gameplay video (below).
- Tip #2: The main protagonist from GTA 4, Niko Bellic, also gets mentioned two or three times within the cutscenes of GTA 5 story mode.
There are no actual gameplay elements or audio sequences involving either Gay Tony or Luis Lopez in GTA 5, and the Easter-Egg makes the first mention of these two characters in the game.
It appears that The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC has some missing links to GTA 5 as the DLC ending shows Gay Tony hinting at shifting to some location in the West or somewhere in San Francisco or Los Santos.
In other words, it means that GTA 5 is likely to see the return of these funny characters in the form of future DLCs for story mode.
