GTA 5 PC Version: Modders Bring GTA 5 Map to Grand Theft Auto 4 via Mod
GTA 5 For PC: Modders Bring Los Santos Map to Grand Theft Auto IV via Mod
Over the last few weeks, a group of modders have been trying to recreate the GTA 5 map onto the PC version of GTA 4.
The people behind the project have now released a new video which showcases the latest updates on the mod.
Mods are alterations of the programme code of a video game in order to make it operate in a manner different from its original version.
At first glance, the map appears to be far more polished and streamlined compared with previous versions of the modded map.

Interested in downloading the map? Its makers say that the "download date is unknown". They have added that the project has become far too big. "It turned into such a big project we have no idea when it will be released", the modders, or the people who make the mods, said on YouTube.
The game's modders have clearly added that their project was not built to replace GTA 5 on GTA 4, but instead to simply give PC gamers a taste of the latest GTA game on their platform.

These developments have come after Rockstar, the developer of GTA 5, refrained from giving fans of the franchise any information on the PC version of the game. Recently, a petition requesting Rockstar to release a PC version of the game received over 650,000 signatures.
There is speculation that Rockstar might never release a version of GTA 5 for PC. However, some rumours in the past have indicated that the PC version will be coming out in March 2014.
These rumours have originated from leaks by retailers, many of whom have claimed that they will be shipping out the game to customers during the third month of 2014. You can read more about the rumor here.
