Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton might get engaged in October; wedding is 'just a talk', report says

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's wedding rumours have started circulating over the internet even though the couple is yet to get engaged. However, a source close to The Voice coaches have claimed that there is still plenty of time left for them to walk down the aisle.

According to Hollywood Life, the couple might get engaged in October this year and they are in no hurry to plan the wedding. "Engagement is more likely and something that may happen in October as well, but anything more than that right now is just talk. Thoughts about a wedding should actually be slowed down just a little bit, not so fast!" a source told the gossip website.

Rumours of the country music couple hiring a wedding planner for their upcoming nuptials have also been debunked by the website and it claims that Stefani and the 40-year-old country singer have indeed hired a birthday planner. However, people close to the couple are assuming that Shelton is planning to surprise guests with a wedding.

"Blake and Gwen are talking to Jerri Woolworth about doing an event for Gwen's birthday in October, but an actual set up for a wedding hasn't been spoken about yet. Some close to Blake are thinking that the birthday party is just a red herring for people to show up and then it turn into a wedding. Marriage is something that they both want but is not exactly in the near future," the source added.

Shelton, who is in love with the mother of three, gushed about his 46-year-old girlfriend. "I still can't believe it. She must have some vision problems," he said during the Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The Grammy-winning singer and song writer also praised Stefani's singing talents. "I didn't think I knew much of her music till I went to one of her shows. A month ago she flew in to Oklahoma and I was driving to pick her up at the airport and I was flipping through XM radio and I stopped on this one song and I thought 'That voice sounds like Gwen, why don't I know this?' and it's this song called 'It's My Life," which was a huge record for them. And I'm going like, holy Hell, I didn't know Gwen sang that song. I've always known 'Hey Baby' and I didn't know she sang that freaking song...all these songs, I was like 'Wow, that was you' And we've kissed?' Wow! That is amazing!"
