Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are reportedly competing to see who gets married first

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are single again and have decided not to get back together.

Paltrow and Martin were spotted going on dinner dates, visiting Hollywood hotspots and seemed extremely affectionate towards each other.

But according to Ok Magazine, the couple are not as close as they are portrayed, they are actually competing to see who will get married first.

A source told the Magazine that there is a rivalry between the couple to see "who will walk down the aisle first."

"There's definitely some kind of race on between Chris and Gwyneth to see who can settle down first with a new partner," the source revealed.

The Coldplay frontman dated actress Jennifer Lawrence for a few months, while Paltrow was seeing Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk.

But who will get married first?

According to the source, "Chris wants to get married and start another family as soon as possible."

With Chris and Lawrence no longer together, it looks like Paltrow could win the challenge.

The Iron Man actress' relationship with Brad has been reportedly heating up. "She's now 100% pursuing her romance with Brad and has every intention of getting married before Chris," said the website.

Previously, Martin and Paltrow were spotted with their children Apple and Moses in Tribeca's i-Plaza Nail & Spa.

"They seemed very affectionate toward each other," a source told PageSix.

The estranged couple "were laughing a lot, making jokes, and Chris even had his arm around Gwyneth," said another source.
