HTC Evo 4G LTE vs Samsung Galaxy Nexus: Battle of The Heavyweight Smartphones
HTC unveils Evo 4G LTE which is the carrier's first smartphone to carry 4G LTE capabilities. The power-packed device includes the finest features NFC, HD Voice, Beats audio and Goggle Wallet. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Nexus bumps up with face unlock feature which unlocks the device using face recognition. Moreover, the update to Ice Cream sandwich 4.0.4 will enhance the system stability, improve camera performance and phone number recognition.

[1] Display
HTC Evo 4G LTE flaunts Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 1280x720 pixels at 312 pixels per inch (ppi). The 4.7-inch device includes a Corning Gorilla Glass and HTC Sense User Interface.
In comparison, Galaxy Nexus touts a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The 4.65-inch smartphone incorporates an oleophobic coating.

HTC's Evo 4G LTE comes with a 1.5 GigaHertz Krait Dual-core processor.
In contrast, Galaxy Nexus is powered by 1.2 GigaHertz Cortex-A9 Dual-core CPU and TI OMAP chipset.

Evo 4G LTE bumps up with 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel secondary camera. The sporting features are autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging and face and smile detection. It offers a video recording of 1080p.
Whilst, the Galaxy Nexus includes a 5-megapixel rear-shooter and a front-facing camera of 1.3-megapixel for video calling. It features zero shutter-lag, auto focus and 1080p video recording. It offers an intuitive way to capture panoramic photos.

HTC Evo 4G LTE runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform.
While, the Galaxy Nexus runs on the Android 4.0 ICS which can be upgraded to latest 4.0.4 version.

Amazingly, both the devices provides Near Field Communication (NFC) feature. They feature Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi hotspot and Bluetooth 3.0 wireless technology.

HTC Evo 4G LTE comes with a 16 GB internal storage and 1 GB RAM. It also includes a microSD card which can be expanded up to 32 GB.
On the other hand, Galaxy Nexus is comprised of a 16 GB internal storage and 1 GB RAM. The device lacks microSD card.

The stunning Evo 4G LTE includes a powerful battery of Li-Ion 2000mAh.
Samsung smartphone contains Li-Ion 1750mAh standard battery which allows a stand by time of up to 290 hours in 2G and 270 hours in 3G. The talk time is of up to 17 hours 40 minutes in 2G and 8 hours 20 minutes in 3G devices.
