HTC One X vs Huawei Ascend D Quad: Quad-Core Goliath Faces David
Huawei and HTC announced the Ascend Quad and the One X, respectively, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held earlier this year.
The One X is now available in the UK and should be released for the US markets in May. The Ascend D Quad ix expected to be available in the Asia-Pacific region, North and South America, Europe and the Middle East by Q2 of this year.

Display: The HTC One X features a 4.7-inch HD 720p touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x720pixels whereas the Huawei Ascend D Quad features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen with the same resolution as the One X.
Size: The HTC One X measures 5.28x2.75x0.35inches and weighs 130g. The Ascend D Quad measures 5.08x2.25x0.35inches and weighs 131. 54g.
Operating System: TheHTC One X runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4. Huawei's smartphone will run on the same software, without, of course, the HTC technology.
Processor: The HTC One X is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz processor (dual-core 1.5 GHz for LTE version in the US and selected countries). The Huawei Ascend D Quad is powered by Huawei's K3V2 quad-core 1.2GHz/1.5GHz processor and the smartphone has four CPU cores. Both phones have 1GB of RAM.
Camera: The HTC One X features an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus, smart LED flash and a BSI sensor. The BSI is a digital image sensor to capture better images in low-light conditions. This primary camera can record video up to HD 1080p and has a dedicated imaging chip, F2.0 aperture and 28mm lens. The secondary 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera offers video chat in 720p. The Huawei sports a primary camera of 8 megapixels with dual LED flash, auto-focus and can shoot videos at 1080p. It also carries a secondary front-facing camera with a resolution of 1.3 megapixels.
Connectivity: The HTC One X offers Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and also supports DLNA and micro-USB version2.0. The Huawei Ascend D Quad offers 3G connectivity and it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 n/g/b and Bluetooth version 3.0+HS.
Storage: The HTC One X has 32GB of internal memory. The Huawei phone has 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 32GB using a microSD card.
Battery: The HTC One X is powered with an 1800mAh battery. The Huawei Ascend D quad has a standard battery of 1800 mAh and can run for up two days on a single charge.
