Update HTC One X to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean via CyanogenMod 10.1 M3 ROM [How to Install]
CyanogenMod 10.1 M3 ROM brings a fast and stable Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean experience to HTC One X
HTC One X is among the lucky few Android devices to receive the latest custom build of Jelly Bean firmware - Android 4.2.2 - via CyanogenMod 10.1 M3 ROM. The M3 version of the popular custom ROM belongs to the M-series, which releases once every month with new features (unlike the nightly build with beta updates).
As XDA Senior Member Mustavalkosta notes, the latest CM10.1 M3 ROM features its kernel based on Synergye's KangBang kernel that brings a few tweaks optimised for the ROM's performance. There is still no word on the official release of the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware from HTC. So, those who cannot wait for the official release can download and install the latest CyanogenMod custom ROM using this guide.
