Huddersfield: Police hunt for man who left partially severed ear on pavement after street fight
Police are searching for a man who had his ear partially bitten off during a street brawl.
A picture of the diamond-studded piece of ear left on the pavement in King Street, Huddersfield, was posted on Twitter.
But the victim has not been found after fleeing the fight on 3 May, at around 9.20pm. It is believed the man did not receive medical treatment.
Two men, aged 37, and 45, from Holmfirth, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding and are currently in custody.
A spokesman from West Yorkshire Police said: "The male who we believe was injured in this incident has still not been traced and has not contacted police. We have recovered a partially severed ear, the outer section of it. It still has the diamond stud in it."
Police have appealed for the victim or witnesses to come forward and contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
