Instead of using a latch, like Asus's range of convertible laptop/tablet hybrids, the Samsung Binder simple slides into place and locks together.IBTimes UKThe Slide features an "easy-to-use sliding hinge structure" and better connectivity with full sized ports. IFA 2012 was a bumper show for Samsung, with the launch of its Galaxy Note 2 smartphone, the Galaxy Camera and a whole range of Windows 8 powered ATIV devices.
But tucked away in a corner of the enormous Samsung hall in Berlin was a range of prototypes, showing off what the South Korean company thinks is possible with Windows 8 and a laptop/keyboard hybrid.
