Inventor Sophie Wilson: Schools Shouldn't Be Responsible for Getting More Women Into Tech
Sophie Wilson, the inventor of the ARM processor instruction set which is used in thousands of products from mobile phones and tablets, to televisions and video games, revealed how schools don't need to teach girls coding to get more women into tech.
Speaking to IBTimes UK exclusively at the Lovie Awards 2014 in London, where she won the Lifetime Achievement gong, Wilson, who was also the designer of the Acorn Micro-Computer, told us about her top tips for getting more women into tech and it doesn't necessarily have to start in the classroom.
