Shahrukh Khan is all set to host the IPL 2014 pre-opening gala on 15 April 15 at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The Bollywood star will also be accompanied by two of his former co-stars and leading heroines of Bollywood - Deepika Padukone and Madhuri Dixit.

The gala dinner will be attended by VIPs, dignitaries, Bollywood stars and some of the top names of the global cricketing world, reports Emirates 24|7.

"According to a well placed source from the organisers, SRK will be interacting with the attendees in an impromptu set-up reminiscent of his 'Access All Areas' concert that was held in Dubai last year," states the report.

The source said, "Shah Rukh will act as the host of the evening and will keep the crowd on their toes with his impromptu act and some dance moves. His energy can be very contagious."

"We will also have Madhuri Dixit joining him on stage, who will be a part of Shah Rukh's interaction and will also be performing a little act of her own."

Khan's Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone is expected to shake a leg with the actor on their hit number, 'Lungi Dance' apart from performing to her other super-hit songs from 'Ram Leela' and 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani'.

As the co-owner of the team Kolkata Knight Riders, SRK is also expected to attend the first match between his team and the Mumbai Indians the following day at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
