Jana Duggar calls mother Michelle her role model, as family recovers from Josh's sexual molestation scandal
Jana Duggar, has posted a selfie with her mother Michelle and is trying to prove a point that the mother-of-19 is not a bad person and that she should not be blamed for remaining silent over the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal.
The 25-year-old reality TV star, does not have a personal social media account, but shared her thoughts by posting the mother-daughter selfie on the Duggar Family's Official Facebook page.
The eldest daughter of Jim Bob, called her mother "the role mode of her life" in an emotional post.
The 19 Kids and Counting star captioned the image: "Love spending time with this sweet lady. So thankful to have her as a role model, a friend and a mom! Always love my time with her."
Jana is not the first to come out in support of her parents, who have been attacked by fans for allegedly remaining silent when their son Josh was accused of sexual molestation.
The eldest Duggar son was accused of molesting his sisters, when he was 14 years old.
Last week, Jill and Jessa made their first public appearance -- three weeks after news of scandal was disclosed -- for an interview with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.
In the interview, the Duggar sisters, slammed the media for going "overboard" and accused them of "re-victimization that's even a thousand times worse".
Meanwhile, post the public appearance the family is trying to get back to normalcy. Jessa, who is five months pregnant, has posted a sweet picture of the baby's ultrasound on Instagram, who she refers to as Baby Seawald.
The family has kept the baby's gender a secret and the couple had hinted that would get to know of it when the baby is born. The 22-year-old reality TV star is due to give birth on 1 November. The due date is coinciding with the couple's first wedding anniversary.
