Jessa Duggar pregnant: Unlike Jill Dillard, 19 Kids and Counting star plans to keep baby's gender a secret
Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald, who are expecting their first child in November, have been busy chronicling the growth of their baby in the womb, on her Instagram account.
The reality TV star couple were recently spotted at the Cross Church Compassion Center in Springdale, Arkansas during the filming for the TLC family reality show 19 Kids and Counting and while interacting with fans, the 22-year-old said that she intends to keep her unborn child's gender a secret.
"We heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time today!" the Duggar daughter told her fans (via Radar Online).
"At first they couldn't hear the heart beat, the baby wasn't turned the right way or something like that," Seewald added.
The couple said that they heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time since Jessa's pregnancy, but they could not determine the baby's sex yet.
"We're actually thinking about keeping it a secret, like just Ben and I know, but we're not sure," the soon-to-be mother added.
When Jessa's older sibling Jill and her husband Derick Dillard learnt about the gender of their unborn child, they hosted a massive party. But the expectant mother is planning to go the other way and does not want her family to know about the baby's gender until its birth.
Jessa kept her pregnancy a secret and shared it with family and friends only after her third trimester was completed and sister Jill gave birth to son Israel David.
The Duggar daughter is due to give birth on 1 November. The due date is coinciding with the couple's first wedding anniversary.
