Jordan Watson graveyard murder: Man arrested over Carlisle cemetery death
Cause of death has been established as multiple wounds to the head and neck.
Cumbria Police have arrested an 18-year-old man of suspicion of murdering Carlisle teenager Jordan Watson.
The 14-year-old was found "savagely" stabbed to death by police on Tuesday (16 June) morning at the cemetery on Ridley Road.
A Home Office pathologist has conducted a post-mortem examination and the cause of death has been established as multiple wounds to the head and neck caused by a sharp implement.
Watson was last seen at a friend's home in Carlisle at around 11pm, police revealed, and detectives believe he was later murdered in a "secluded" area of St John the Baptist Church cemetery.
It is not yet known what the schoolboy was doing in the graveyard.
