Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx romance rumours have been doing the rounds ever since the actress called it quits with Hollywood star Tom Cruise. While the rumoured couple have denied romance talks repeatedly in the past, their recent Mexican getaway seems to indicate otherwise.

Apparently the Dawson's Creek actress, who turned 38 on Sunday, celebrated her birthday with a secret rendezvous with Foxx.

"Katie and Jamie took a private jet to Cabo on Friday morning from Van Nuys Airport [in Los Angeles]," a source told Us Weekly sharing details about the private getaway. "It was a quick trip in honour of Katie's birthday. It was only them and two pilots on the plane."

According to the gossip report, the low-key couple enjoyed their vacation in five-star hotel Las Ventanas al Paraíso, where their stay was ensured to be as discreet as possible.

Apparently Holmes was not accompanied by her daughter Suri – from ex-husband Cruise – for the hush-hush trip with Foxx.

"They stayed in one of the most private suites at the hotel, separate from other guests and entered by a small path," the source was quoted as saying by the report. "They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler."

However, after the exotic getaway the actress seems to have spent time with her 10-year-old daughter as she shared some adorable selfies on social media. "Birthday vibes" the mother-of-one captioned the photos with a bunch of heart emoticons.

Holmes and Foxx's dating rumours first surfaced in 2013, and while reports claim that the pair has been together for more than three years, neither of the stars has acknowledged their relationship. Earlier this month, the actress finally addressed those "secret marriage" rumours saying, "Nooo, I'm not married. But thank you for asking."

The actress shares 10-year-old Suri from her previous marriage to Cruise while Foxx is father to Corinne, 22, and Annalise, 8, from previous relationships.
