Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom: Singer quashes split rumours with Thanksgiving Snapchat

Pop star Katy Perry wants the world to know that she and her actor beau Orlando Bloom are still going strong. After split rumours began circulating online, the pop superstar found a not-so-subtle way to debunk reports of trouble in paradise, by revealing that he had joined her family for Thanksgiving.

In Touch magazine previously reported that the 39-year-old British actor was reluctant to commit to his American girlfriend of 10 months and that Perry had had enough.

"Not long after Halloween, Orlando confessed to pals that he'd decided to end their relationship," a source told the publication. "He claimed that he's just not ready to get married and have babies."

Another insider added: "She said they were on different life paths and as much as she likes him, it's time to move on."

But if the Roar singer's behind-the-scenes clips from the Thanksgiving celebrations are anything to go by, the couple have actually taken their relationship to the next level. Short videos shared with fans on Snapchat proved that he was embraced by her nearest and dearest.

In one video with the caption "hi internet", a newly blonde Bloom can be seen holding a baby in his arms while wearing a check black and red onesie and festive outfits matching those of his girlfriend and her family members.

It seems that the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor found his clothes this time around. Back in August, the couple made headlines and dominated social media after he decided to embrace his inner nudist during a holiday to Sardinia. Bloom became a trending topic after the Daily News published candid images of him paddling in his birthday suit.

Perry has dated some of the world's most eligible bachelors. She was married to British comedian Russell Brand for 14 months before they divorced in 2012 and she before that dated John Mayer. Bloom is also no stranger to high-profile relationships. He was married to supermodel Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013, and the two have a five-year-old son together, Flynn.
