Kendall Jenner and Chris Brown: Reality star warned about 'Rihanna attack' amid dating rumours
Kendall Jenner and Chris Brown dating rumours raised eyebrows when they first started making the rounds but it looks like shock has turned into outrage on social media. Fans of the model and part-time reality TV star have voiced their distress over her alleged romantic involvement with the singer, making references to his infamous attack on former girlfriend Rihanna.
Earlier in March, the pair ignited dating rumours after they enjoyed a night out at Hôtel Plaza Athénée Paris and left the venue at 02.30am. Jenner is single again after splitting from One Direction star Harry Styles in January. "At this point in her life, Kendall is ready for a serious relationship," an insider told Hollywood Life. "She thought she could just go with the flow with Harry, but it's just not making her happy."
A number of fans have since spoken out against the union, citing his abusive past. "He is an abuser and nobody will forget him beating @rihanna #No," one Spanish-speaking fan wrote on Twitter.
Another wrote: "I really hope Kendall Jenner doesn't get with Chris Brown."
In February 2009, Brown attacked Riri after a pre-Grammy awards party in Los Angeles. Although the Loyal singer was sentenced to community service, a probation order and a five-year restraining order after pleading no contest to the assault charges in court later that year, the former couple reconciled briefly four years later.
Back in October, the Work hit maker admitted she decided to give their relationship a second try because she felt she could change him: "I was very protective of him. I felt that people didn't understand him. Even after... But you know, you realise after a while that in that situation you're the enemy."
If the reports are true then it will be Brown's first relationship since Karrueche Tran. She called an end to their turbulent five-year affair back in March 2015 after it emerged he had fathered a child with another woman.
