Kim Kardashian's Vampire Facial: Stars Spatters Own Blood on Face to Improve Skin [PHOTO]

Few people would consider splashing their own blood on their face in the name of beauty, but that is exactly what reality star Kim Kardashian has done.

Kardashian was seen getting a 'vampire facial' during the latest episode of her current reality show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

"I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful," she said in mitigation.

For the facial, the procedure involves a beautician drawing the client'sblood, putting it into a machine to remove the platelets and spattering it on the top layer of the client's face, with the help of several tiny needles.

However, the procedure requires some anaesthetic to ease the pain.

"It stings a little," the medic who administered the treatment warned Kardashian, who did not seem to enjoy it much.

"Owww," she screamed. "Oh my God. I will never get a face-lift if it feels like that," she vowed while getting the treatment.

However, as the 32-year-old expectant mother recovered with ice packs on her face, she insisted, "We're all good."

The treatment is believed to make improvements to the skin by rejuvenating it.

The procedure may have made Kardashian's skin glow, but it certainly failed to impress her fans. After the star posted pictures of herself undergoing the procedure on Instagram, it drew some mixed reactions from people on micro-blogging site Twitter.
