American reality TV star Kylie Jenner posted an emotional message on Instagram after news emerged that Kris Jenner officially filed for divorce from Bruce Jenner.

According to the divorce documents obtained by Us Weekly, the 58-year-old cited irreconcilable differences.

The 17-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted the photo message with the caption: "emptiness we created."

Meanwhile, Kendall Jenner had also shared an old picture of the couple.

Kendall was totally devastated when Kris and Bruce broke the divorce news to the family on the season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians back in January.

"Then why are you still married? Get a divorce! Why are you scared of getting a divorce? If you want to be friends, get a divorce," she said at that time.

"Are we divorced parents' kids now? I don't want to live like I have divorced parents," Kendall went on.

She cried when she spoke to her half-sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian: "Then we won't be siblings anymore... for someone to say we're not going to be sisters anymore, that really really affects me."

Meanwhile, Star magazine had previously claimed that the couple split because of Bruce's desire to be a woman.

However, Kris spoke out about the rumours surrounding her estranged husband.

"Ninety-nine percent of the stuff in the tabloids is made up," Kris told Entertainment Tonight in an interview.
