One Direction's Louis Tomlinson Blasts The Mirror for Attacking his Mother
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has lashed out at the Mirror in the UK for writing a damning story about his mother.
The newspaper published an article claiming that his mother, Johanna 'Jay' Tomlinson, who is a senior midwife at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, met her fiancé Daniel Deakin in 2011, after his wife Elaine suffered a stillbirth.
"I felt so sorry for Elaine, she had no idea there was anything wrong in her marriage," a family friend said, "They are such a lovely family but they've been put through hell. She was due to give birth any day when they discovered the baby was stillborn. Jay was in such a personal position with Dan and Elaine at such a heartbreaking time in their lives."
"I don't know how those two can live with themselves. Now all they do is flaunt their love on Twitter and Facebook for everyone to see. They even compare themselves to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. I'm glad the truth is finally coming out now. Elaine is a beautiful soul and does not deserve the pain they have put her through. Everyone in Doncaster is sick of them shouting about their love online. Where is their compassion for Elaine? Their disrespect is unbelievable."
Following this, the 21-year-old took to Twitter to express his anger and also revealed that his band will not work with the Mirror again.
"I am appalled by what the Mirror has done to my family. It's disgusting and immoral. #f**kyouthemirror," he tweeted, adding, "As long as I am in One Direction, we won't be working with the Mirror."
Tomlinson's last argument with the paper came when it published an interview with his estranged biological father, Troy Austin. The 44-year-old construction worker, split from his mother when the singer was two years old.
"I'd like to start off the day by saying a big fuck you to 'the mirror' :) on a happier note huge love to all out fans, you keep us going!!" Tomlinson tweeted.
