Maci Bookout married: Teen Mom OG star is excited to call Taylor McKinney 'my husband'

Maci Bookout tied the knot with Taylor McKinney in a rustic-themed ceremony in Greenville, Florida on 8 October. The Teen Mom OG star walked down the aisle in a Riki Dalal Haute Couture gown.

According to Us Weekly, Bookout is excited about being able to call McKinney her husband. She told the magazine, "I am so excited because I don't use the word 'fiancé' because I think it's kind of silly! So I'm excited to finally be able to call him my husband."

The 25-year-old reality TV star share two children – 16-month-old daughter Jayde, and four-month-old son Maverick. They also parent Bookout's seven-year-old son Bently from her ex-fiancé Ryan Edwards. The couple exchanged self-written vows in a chapel in front of their close friends and family members.

Bookout described the rustic-themed wedding, as "a very traditional religious ceremony", which was officiated by the Bulletproof author's pastor grandfather. She gushed, "[It was] really special". The newlyweds had their first dance to John Legend's emotional 2013 hit song All Of Me. The 16 & Pregnant alum got engaged to Taylor back in January.

Speaking about her husband, Bookout said, "I just love our teamwork. It's hard to find somebody. We both are always willing to help each other and we both get things done. Ninety-five percent of the time, for our lives to be so crazy, it's actually very calm in a weird way. So I think our partnership is very, very strong."

Following the nuptial, the newlyweds will head to the Caribbean for their honeymoon. She revealed, "We're going for seven nights, eight days. So eight days with no children and beer and a beach, it's going to be awesome. I'd say by day five, though, we're probably going to be missing the kids a lot! But we'll try to enjoy it."
