Madeleine McCann: Seven Suspects to be Questioned by Portuguese Police
Seven people suspected of being involved in the disappearance of English girl Madeleine McCann are to be questioned by Portuguese police.
The group includes two British men and a woman, according to reports.
The seven will be questioned between 24 November and 28 November in Faro, in the Algarve region.
Madeleine disappeared from apartment six of the Ocean Club in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz in May 2007. She was three years old at the time of the suspected abduction.
Five of the suspects will also be asked about their whereabouts on the night Madeleine vanished.
It is believed that three of those being questioned will be declared "arguidos" or defendants, meaning they will be given formal suspect status under Portuguese law.
According to some reports, the seven suspects know each other and exchanged phone calls on the night Madeleine vanished.
Some of them are believed to have criminal charges.
Last October, British police said they want to test for clues recovered from the hotel room Madeleine was staying in when she vanished.
