English Premier League 2011/12 Statistics: Manchester City vs Blackburn Rovers Preview

Manchester City have been in awesome form throughout this season and are at the top of the English Premier League, winning most of their matches. Now with Argentinean star Tevez back maybe back in the side, City seem to be stronger than ever.

Coming out of a comfortable 3-0 victory against Liverpool, City strikers including David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri have managed to score against every team in the league except West Brom, Chelsea, Everton and Sunderland.

Meanwhile, Blackburn, who are currently at the bottom of the season, have had a very tough season, losing to almost every club. A humiliating 7-1 defeat against Arsenal saw them put a little more effort against QPR, which they won by a narrow 3-2 margin.

However, it can't help matters that four of Steve Kean's defenders picked up injuries in the disappointing 3-1 defeat against Newcastle. Blackburn, have failed to beat City in their last seven encounters, have to at least draw this match to avoid going in the relegation zone.

A clash between two teams at the opposite ends of the table, Manchester City are the favourites to win this one.
