Manchester United Draw Holders Bayern Munich in Champions League Quarter-final
Manchester United have been drawn against holders Bayern Munich in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
Chelsea will attempt to overcome the challenge of Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain while Real Madrid will take on Borussia Dortmund in a repeat of last season's semi-final.
Barcelona take on their rivals for the La Liga title Atletico Madrid in an all-Spanish clash in the final game of the last eight.
The first legs will be played on 1-2 April, with the return matches on 8-9 April. The semi-final draw follows in Nyon on 11 April, and those games will take place on 22/23 April and 29/30 April. The final will be held on Saturday 24 May at Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Lisbon.
United and Bayern infamously met in the final of the 1999 Champions League final where the Reds came out on top to clinch a historic treble thanks to two injury time goals from Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Barcelona.
Since then, the Bavarian giants have enjoyed the better of their exchanges, eliminating the club at the quarter final stage in 2002 before repeating the trick in 2010.
United overturned a 2-0 defeat in the first leg of their last 16 tie against Olympiakos after winning 3-0 at Old Trafford last week, while Chelsea sailed into the last eight with a comfortable 3-1 aggregate win over Galatasaray.
