The Mirror believes United are ready to offer Nani plus £20m for the services of the talented Italian midfielder. The Portuguese International has a year left on his current contract and United could be presented an opportunity in the summer if he decides against extending his tenure at the club.

The Italian outfit currently has the services of Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and former United man Paul Pogba, along with Marchisio in the central midfield position. Juventus manager Antonio Conte is keen on signing a striker and winger at the end of the season.

The Serie A champions were keen on signing the Portuguese winger during the last summer. Juventus could make an approach for the services of Nani in the upcoming transfer window, which could see Marchisio making a switch to Old Trafford as a part of the swap deal.

The report suggests the 27-year-old playmaker has already informed his friends that a move to the Premier League in the summer could be a possibility, if United could agree on terms with Juventus for his services. Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to land Marchisio in the summer and has already sent scouts to watch him in action.

Ferguson has admitted the club is looking to bring in quality players as United are likely to strengthen their midfield in the summer. The addition of Marhiciso will bolster their squad. The Italian international has been an integral part of Serie A club's midfield, scoring six goals and managing one assist in 28 league appearances this season.

Marchisio is currently under contract with the Turin club till 2016. Meanwhile, any move from the Premier League champions for the services of Juventus star will not be an easy task as the player himself expressed his desire to continue with his current employers beyond this summer.

"I have a long contract with Juventus and I want to see it out and renew it even. It would be crazy to leave now that we have just started winning. I am not interested in the rumours even though they fill me with pride," Marchisio said.
