Manchester United vs PSV Eindhoven, Champions League 2015/16: Where to watch live, preview, betting odds and possible XI
PSV Eindhoven take on Manchester United in the midweek Champions League clash at Old Trafford on Wednesday, 25 November.
Where to watch live
Kick-off is at 7:45pm GMT. Live coverage is on BT Sport Europe. Radio coverage of the match is available on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Overview
United come into the fixture after a 2-1 victory over Watford in the Premier League fixture at Vicarage Road. With Anthony Martial out injured and Wayne Rooney missing the clash due to illness, Louis van Gaal started Memphis Depay up front as the main striker.
The Dutch international scored the opening goal and United were in a position to seal three points, until Marcos Rojo gave away a penalty in the final minutes of the match. Troy Deeney converted from a spot kick and David de Gea was beaten for the first time in as many matches in all competitions.
A late own goal from Deeney gave United a crucial 2-1 victory over Watford. That should lift the spirits in the squad as United look to seal a berth in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a win on Wednesday.
PSV enter the fixture after being forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Willem II in the last fixture. Philip Cocu was not impressed with his side's display and has questioned his players' mentality after settling for a point.
The last time the two teams faced each other was in the first match of the European competition, which saw United suffer a 2-1 defeat. The same fixture also saw Luke Shaw pick up a horror injury, which will force him to miss most part of this season.
What managers say
Louis van Gaal: "If we beat PSV, then we will have qualified. It is very important to win, but it is not easy because every game you have to play you cannot say we will beat them. PSV also beat Wolfsburg and I think that they are a very good team. They also beat Manchester United, of course."
Phillip Cocu: "It is deteriorating further. After we went 1-0 ahead we had to make more things happen. It is really important that we now go and look at this problem."
