A report on Monday, 20 November, claimed that the Suicide Squad star is all set to take on a new role in her life – motherhood.
The unverified news comes from Australian outlet NW magazine, according to which, the 27-year-old stunner is almost three months along in her pregnancy, expecting her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.
Robbie and the 27-year-old British film director got married in an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, after three years of dating last December.
Just ahead of their first marriage anniversary, The Wolf of Wall Street actress even treated her social media followers to a rare snap of the duo.
However, sending rumour mills into an overdrive, the sensational new report added how the actress showed off a bit of a baby bump at the recent Hollywood Film Awards.
"Margot has wanted to be a mum ever since she and Tom tied the knot, and that time has finally arrived," a source told the Australian magazine. "She's always said that when she does get pregnant she'll keep the news to herself and her closest family members."
Meanwhile, the actress has been quite vocal as she discussed the changes her marriage has brought into her life.
She told Vogue: "We were best friends and roommates before and now we're like best friends and roommates still, so nothing's really changed at all. Other than the fact that I get to wear this on the weekends. I can't obviously wear it during the week when I'm working – I don't want to lose it on set."
She seemed to be referring to the diamond sparkler on her ring finger.
