Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Divorce: America's Got Talent Host Rubbishes 'False Reports,' Claims He Still Loves His Wife
Mariah is yet to respond to the divorce rumours
Ever since Nick Cannon confirmed that he and Mariah Carey had been living apart, internet is abuzz with reports on the state of their marriage.
"There is trouble in paradise," the America's Got Talent host revealed to The Insider With Yahoo last month.
However, Cannon took to his Twitter account on Wednesday, posting a 19-tweet rant to rubbish all "false reports" and "slander" about their divorce in the media.
Nick started his series of tweets by blaming the paparazzi for invading their privacy.
He tweeted:
I have personally been absent from social media for the past few months for obvious reasons but I feel the need to finally speak up...
— Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) September 3, 2014
During this challenging time for me and my family it saddens me that the media can be such evil bottom feeders...

Cannon went on to explain that he was misquoted by the media, and that he never made any statement regarding their split.
For the record I NEVER have, nor will I make a statement regarding my marriage.

Various media websites have posted stories regarding the split and some claim that the reality star Kim Kardashian is the reason behind their marriage breakdown. While Nick didn't confirm or deny those reports, he did make it clear that he is still very much in love with his wife of six years.
He said: "At this difficult time, I would ask all civilised people to please respect my family and this process."
What infuriates me most is to hear people slander @MariahCarey . I will forever be in debted to her for blessing me with our children...
— Nick Cannon (@NickCannon) September 3, 2014
I will always love her unconditionally for this and so much more. @MariahCarey is an amazing Mother and I trust her wholeheartedly...

Nick added that he didn't care what the media writes about him, as long as Mariah wasn't slandered.
"If the media wants to portray me as the Bad guy that's fine.. But it is unfair to drag innocent people into the equation..." he wrote. "Others have lives, families, and careers and for the media to slander them is downright evil and illegal...," he added.
He continued to tweet, calling out the "sources" close to him and Mariah, who have been feeding the media false stories.
BTW Shouts out to the so called "Sources"!

"Don't worry about my life, worry about why you're worried about my life!" he tweeted, before finally addressing that 'Trouble in Paradise' quote.
And finally, "Trouble in Paradise" is the dumbest phrase I've ever heard! I would never say that sh!t

While Nick publicly addressed his side of the story, Mariah is yet to respond to any of his tweets.
