Married doctor who faces six counts of sexual assault had stash of extreme porn, prosecutors allege
He was also charged with possession of extreme pornography.
A 39-year-old doctor has appeared in court accused of sexually assaulting four women on six different occasions.
Kamran Ali denied the claims at his hearing at Southend Magistrates' Court, which also included separate charges of making indecent photographs of children and of possessing extreme pornography. Ali, who also has a young daughter, was alleged to have assaulted the women between September and November in 2016.
Prosecutor Paula Cochrane said the timeline of the allegations aligned with Ali's work as a GP trainee. According to Peterboroughtoday.co.uk, Ali has lived in the UK for more than 10 years and his wife was also a hospital doctor.
Ali has been released on bail and will be tried at Basildon Crown Court on 8 January. Under the terms of his bail, he cannot leave the UK, apply for international visas or make contact with any of the witnesses involved in the case.
Ali, who is from Glendale Gardens, Leigh-on-Sea, spoke only to deny the accusations.
