Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will now travel to Balmoral Castle to visit Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip. A royal source said that the 93-year-old queen will reportedly make the Duchess of Sussex very welcome. This will be Meghan's first visit to the Queen's Scottish retreat as a mother.

This news comes just a week after Prince William and Kate Middleton returned from their summer break with their three children in Balmoral. The royal couple returned to their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk last week.

On Thursday, they will drop off their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to school. George will start Year 2 and Charlotte will start Reception at St. Thomas's Battersea in London. It will be the four-year-old Charlotte's first day of school.

"Her Royal Highness will be made very welcome," said a source speaking to Daily Mail. The news comes after a royal expert also said that the Queen can't wait to host Harry, Meghan and their son Archie.

"It would seem likely that Harry and Meghan will take Archie to Balmoral this year to be with the Queen, especially as this will be a special time for them with Archie born so recently. The Queen is obviously fond of her and if reports of their visit are correct, will be looking forward to it enormously," said Richard Fitzwilliams while speaking to Express.

Royal sources say that the time difference of visits by the Cambridges and the Sussexes is purely a coincidence. However, royal watchers have a different view. They are speculating "a growing feud between the couples."

To add fuel to the flames, the charitable foundation originally founded by William and Harry was officially split recently. William and Kate have removed all mention of Meghan and Harry from their charity. Earlier, the foundation was named the Royal Foundation of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge & Duke and Duchess of Sussex. But now, the new name is The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meanwhile, the Sussexes revealed plans for their own charity, named the Sussex Royal Foundation, earlier this year.

The Queen's Balmoral estate is a very private. The paparazzi don't have any access. Hence, the Royal Family enjoys their time off in peace at the castle. This year, the Queen was joined by sons Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward. Other visitors include Sophie, Countess of Wessex, her children, Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn.

Sarah Ferguson and her daughters with Prince Andrew, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie also enjoyed a holiday with the Queen.
