Microsoft and Apple found to satisfy consumers most as Google and Samsung 'disappoint'
Microsoft and Apple have emerged as the two leading companies in terms of delighting consumers, while Google and Samsung have been found disappointing with their offerings. These are the findings of big data-driven analyst firm Argus Insights.
Its annual report "Battle of the Brands 2015" shows Microsoft and Apple as the two most successful tech companies in terms of customer satisfaction. As cited by technology site CNet, the report insists that consumer emotive areas have been "positively twitching" about Microsoft since January, while Apple remained the company that delighted consumers the most till September.
Google and Samsung, despite being two of the renowned tech companies, reportedly failed to delight consumers. "Unlike Google and Amazon, which offer inexpensive hardware offerings meant to entice more consumers to visit their gardens more often, Microsoft has focused on crafting new experiences built on solid hardware that is delighting consumers," the report reads. "Samsung, without a strong content play, is just leasing space in the gardens of other brands."
Google has the Nexus range of Android devices as well as Chromecast and Nest as some of its unique offerings, but the report claims the company failed to thrill consumers.
"Amazon is the only brand with high delight scores for smart home products from happy Echo users, whereas smart home products are dragging down delight scores for the other brands," the report's authors added.
The analyst firm says that the conclusion emerges from data analysed through 942,000 consumer reviews between January and September. The report basically analyses feelings of people about various tech brands and their products that help show their popularity among consumers.
