Missing Malaysia Airlines MH370: The Jews are to Blame, Surely?
A prominent Iranian lawmaker has blamed the US for the disappearance of Malaysian flight MH370, claiming Washington wants to cause "psychological warfare" between Iran and China.
This pernicious nonsense is surely only a precursor for the "Jews did it" fantasies that rattle around the worldwide web as a grotesque echo to disasters, war and human misery (the demonisation of the USA has indeed become interchangeable with Jews and/or Israel).
An axis of evil spits out this hate. Much of the black propaganda oozes out of the Arab/Muslim world where state-sponsored anti-Semitism underpins rabid anti-Zionism.
An accompanying witches' chorus is supplied by a rag-bag of neo-Nazis, Christian crazies, anti-government radicals and general purpose losers consumed by hatred, sitting at a computer screen in their smelly underpants in the back bedroom of their mum's house.
The posioned well from which they all drink is The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the notorious Tsarist forgery purporting to describe a Jewish plan for global domination. This became Hitler's favourite bedtime reading and he refined it into blaming the Jews for capitalism, communism, modern art, jazz music, science, sexual liberation war, peace etc.
Repeatedly it has been reinvented in the 21st century.

Bruce Campbell, a columnist for the anti-Semitic Veterans Today, claimed that "Everything we've seen was based on Jewish lies designed to take over the Middle East and create a greater Israel, which was stretched from Egypt to Iran".
Sandy Hook Massacre - Hooked Noses Blamed
In the aftermath of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, internet posts blaming Jews for the killings began to spring up on various online message boards and conspiracy theory websites.
One theory, for example, promotes the notion that a supposedly Jewish-controlled Hollywood encourages killing sprees with subliminal messages glorifying gun violence. Another attributes the violence to the State of Israel, claiming Israel perpetrated a "false flag" terrorist attack on American soil as alleged punishment for American foreign policy on Israel and the Palestinians.

The Big One of recent times.
Conspiracy theories began almost as soon as the towers fell. Four days after the attack, the Syrian newspaper Al-Thawra reported that 4,000 Jews failed to show up for work at the World Trade Center on 9/11 after being warned by Israeli intelligence.
Another claimed that five Israeli students were secret Mossad agents who knew about the attacks and allowed them to happen. That myth eventually morphed into the conspiracy theory that the Israelis remotely directed the attacks.
The scores of Jews who actually died that fateful day obviously didn't get the memo.
