Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts governor, first ran for president in 2008, but lost the nomination to John McCain.

Romney has worked as a missionary, consultant and entrepreneur before entering in to the Republican nomination race to contest against Barack Obama in the forthcoming presidential election in November.

He is the co-founder of a private equity firm, Bain capital and believes that his experience as a businessman would help him to create more job opportunities for the American citizens.

The 64-year-old is an MBA graduate from Harvard Business School.
