MotoGP Czech Republic Grand Prix 2016: Practice review and where to watch qualifying live

Championship leader Marc Marquez fought a sore shoulder to finish the second free practice in first place clocking the fastest time. Andrea Iannone of Team Ducati finished the first practice session in top spot.

Overview

Two-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez continued his fine form of the season, setting the fastest time during Free Practice session 2 of the Czech Republic Grand Prix on 19 August. Two weeks after dislocating his shoulder the Spanish rider clocked 1:55.840s and also managed to save him from a crash on the circuit.

Iannone who claimed his maiden top-class victory in Austria last week, came second clocking1:55.944s 0 while reigning world champion and last year's winner Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha finished in third with a time of 1:55.977s.

Italian legend Valentino Rossi who scored his first-ever grand prix victory at the Brno track 20 years ago, had a disappointing day eventually finishing in fifth place.
