MTV EMAs 2015 highlights: Ed Sheeran sexual innuendos, Ruby Rose's outfits, Jason Derulo performs on hoverboard

Some of the biggest stars in music flocked to Milan, Italy for the Europe Music Awards 2015 last night (25 October 2015) with the likes of Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding and Fifth Harmony in attendance. It was certainly a weird and wonderful evening with hosts Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose entertaining the audience with some interesting antics.

Hosted at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, the night included a bevy of incredible performances and of course celebrations for the big winners, which included 21-year-old Bieber, boy band One Direction and singer Taylor Swift. Ed Sheeran's x-rated jokes

Highly amused viewers flooded Twitter with suggestions that the Thinking Out Loud singer was drunk, which would explain the x-rated jokes he delivered throughout the awards, most notably in the opening segment. When his co-host Rose joked that she been born a kitten, Sheeran remarked: "That's a beautiful p***y." Chances are, that was not scripted!

Ruby Rose's wardrobe choices

The Orange Is The New Black actress rocked some interesting outfit choices during the night, which included a spaghetti dress, an all-leather get-up, a jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and a Roman empress-inspired tunic.

Jason Derulo hoverboards during performances

Most struggle to simply find their balance on a hoverboard but Derulo, 26, was able to stay upright for the majority of his set, hovering around the stage with his dancers during a choreographed performance of his hit single Want To Want Me.

Fifth Harmony performing on the red carpet

Those Fifth Harmony ladies know how to make an entrance. The five-piece girl group, consisting of Camila Cabello, Dina Jane Hansen, Normani Hamilton, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Lauren Jauregui, opened the awards ceremony with a performance of their single Worth It on the red carpet before moving to the stage.

Lookalikes Justin Bieber and Ruby Rose face-off

Their similar facial features and haircuts have become somewhat of a viral sensation so it was a pretty big deal when Rose and Bieber came face-to-face at the EMAs. Although not known if intentional, the pair even matched outfits at one point during the ceremony with Bieber wearing a red T-shirt and jeans and Rose donning a scarlet blazer. Unbelievably uncanny.
