VMA 2013 Red Carpet Fashion: Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry Stun in Styles Unmatched [SLIDESHOW]

Fashion goes wild often at such entertainment awards as MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), especially when the show is stocked with names like Lady Gaga. And the VMAs 2013 was no exception.

The 2013 Video Music Awards, held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday, saw a plethora of celebrities including Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and more turn up on the red carpet in styles unmatched.

Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga were a major draw on the red carpet. Perry opted for an animal print dress from Emanuel Ungaro's Fall-Winter 2013 collection and didn't shy away from showing off her bejewelled teeth on arrival at the VMA red carpet.

Cyrus flaunted in a figure-hugging black leggings and crop top as she made her way down the red carpet.

Lady Gaga, known for her bewildering style statements comprising of larger-than-life shoes, unusual makeup and hairdo, surprisingly stunned in an outwardly black PVC evening gown with deep neckline and a sheer train.

The award gala was opened with a rocking performance by Lady Gaga on her latest single Applause, while Katy perry wrapped the show in an epic closing performance under the Brooklyn Bridge. The 28-year-old American singer performed on her hit single Roar.
