New Jersey house explosion caught on camera
Dramatic video footage has been released which shows the moment a house suddenly explodes and injures 15 people in New Jersey, United States.
The incident in Stafford Township, New Jersey, was captured by the dashcam of a local police car. Police along with fire and emergency medical personnel had been called out to the the Oak Avenue and Cedar Run area after receiving reports of a strong gas smell.
After arriving and commencing work to repair the gas leak, the gas main from the house at 59 Oak Avenue burst, causing a huge blast that sends pieces of debris skyrocketing into the air and showering the surrounding area.
15 people were reportedly injured in the explosion, with two utility workers on the scene at the time rushed to Atlantic City hospital in a critical condition.
